Author Guidelines

We welcome book proposals and complete manuscripts that align with our focus on Islamic Academic Studies.

Scope of Publication: We publish monographs, edited volumes, and textbooks within the disciplines of Islamic Theology, Law, History, Education, and Contemporary Social Issues related to the Muslim world.

Submission Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format. Use Times New Roman, 12pt, 1.5 spacing. A standard book proposal should include: A synopsis, annotated table of contents, target audience, and sample chapters (1 & 2).

Referencing Style: All citations and bibliographies must follow the Chicago Manual of Style (17th Edition, Notes and Bibliography system). Arabic transliteration should follow the IJMES standard.

Review Timeline: Initial desk review takes approximately 2-4 weeks. Full peer review for accepted proposals takes 3-4 months.
